De'vo's very first deck, the silver edition blades was supposed to be silver gilded! That is why when you see the first edition Silver Blades box it says "handle with care" on the sides. When we went to print it was discovered that you couldn't silver gild decks with a full color bleed/black deck. So we decided to do a white bordered deck and silver gild that one. The Blades Blood Metal was born!
This AMAZING Blood Edition Blades features blood in the corners, and our very first ever silver gilded edges! This gilded version also comes in its own special dual foil box. This amazing deck sold out in record time!
The original Blades Blood Metal deck was supposed to have a black embossed back design, however when they began putting them on the assembly line they noticed that it would chip the embossed edges and make them white. So we only kept around 50 boxes and redid the boxes with a printed back design. This super rare error run was never commercially sold.
